Quality Assurance Engineer

Brainyyack is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing digital team.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality digital experiences and has a strong eye for finding issues before they reach our clients or their customers.

What You’ll Do:

• Test websites, web applications, and digital products across desktop and mobile
• Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and cross-browser testing
• Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution
• Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and QA documentation
• Validate new features against requirements and acceptance criteria
• Work closely with developers, designers, and project managers
• Test responsive layouts across multiple devices and browsers
• Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing before releases
• Help improve our overall QA processes and release standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience as a QA Engineer, Software Tester, or similar role
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies and processes
• Experience testing websites and web-based applications
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to clearly document and communicate bugs
• Familiarity with project and bug-tracking tools
• Understanding of APIs and API testing is an asset
• Experience with automated testing tools is a strong asset
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress is an asset
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a remote team
